Locals 4 Good is a fundraising program of The Quietly Working Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 20-5149597).
We connect local donor-partners with their neighbors through beautiful 9"x12" community postcards mailed to 10,000+ affluent households. Every donation funds student design training through The Missing Pixel Project.
How It Works
Donor-partners reserve an exclusive category spot on the postcard for their community. Our Missing Pixel students design the ad under professional mentorship. The finished postcards are printed by our partner Printing4SuperCheap and mailed via EDDM to every residential address on selected postal routes.
Our Mission
The Quietly Working Foundation serves youth 30 and younger through career training and mentorship. L4G is one of several fundraising programs that power this mission. Think of it as a "PTA bake sale" scaled to sustainability — the product is excellent, and the purpose is eternal.
Since 1996
What started as a community newsletter in 1996 has evolved into a premium postcard program reaching thousands of affluent households across Southern California. The model is tested, the relationships are real, and the impact grows with every mailing.
